Las principales empresas de tecnología están apostando por ello, comprando portales de educación online por sumas de hasta 10 dígitos. Para que no hagas el cálculo te lo digo: 1,500 millones de dólares. La cosa va en serio.
Ya sea que te gustaría estudiar algo nuevo y tienes poco tiempo, o estás buscando aprender algo nuevo y no sabes por dónde empezar. Aquí te traigo un listado de plataformas online donde puedes aprender temas muy interesantes y lo mejor de todo, ¡sin salir de casa! La buena noticia es que muchas de ellas son gratis.
Coursera:
Comencemos por el peso pesado. Un gigante en la educación virtual. Uno de sus principales factores diferenciales es el estar asociada con importantes universidades del mundo que ponen a tu disposición sus cursos y certificados. Aquí vas a poder encontrar desde cursos de Algoritmos, desarrollo de aplicaciones móviles con Android, hasta cursos de desarrollo personal o aprender algún idioma. Tiene cursos gratuitos y de pago. Lo que seguro necesitarás es una cámara web. ¿Para qué? Ahhh, ahí está tu curiosidad. 😉
Platzi:
¿Te gusta el diseño, Desarrollo, Marketing o Negocios? ¿O todo junto? ¡Este lugar es para ti! Es el portal favorito entre los geeks del mundo digital. Puedes llevar los cursos en vivo y administrar tu tiempo como mejor te parezca. A mí me está dando buenos resultados, entre el trabajo y los estudios en aula, Platzi es un complemento que me calza perfecto. No olvides entrar a su fan page en Facebook y preguntar por el descuento en grupo. Sí, se paga una suscripción mensual, pero vale cada centavo.
Domestika:
¿Eres de la gente que vive en busca de inspiración y mejorar en el mundo de la creatividad? Domestika se define como “La mayor comunidad creativa en español”. Así que este es tu sitio. Está creado por profesionales de diferentes áreas creativas y de diferentes empresas. Todos los cursos tienen un costo fijo individual. Si te gusta alguno, lo pagas, lo tomas y listo.
Edx:
Uno de los más serios de la lista. Fundado en 2012 por Harvard University, ofrece cursos de alta calidad de las mejores universidades e instituciones de todo el mundo. Más de 90 socios entre las principales universidades, organizaciones no lucrativas e instituciones de todo el mundo. Podrás encontrar cursos gratuitos y de pago de diferentes áreas: literatura, matemáticas, economía, ética, psicología, leyes, etc.
TED-Ed:
Basándose en su conocido: “Ideas worth spreading” (ideas dignas de difundir) y en sus video/conferencias, en 2012 TED creó TED-Ed. TED Ed es toda una experiencia de aprendizaje sobre asuntos muy diversos: arte, negocios, salud, pensamiento, temas sociales, gatitos (sí, gatitos), etc. Los videos son en su mayoría animaciones geniales que ayudan a comprender muy bien el contenido. Si eres de esos/as que te encanta aprender cosas nuevas y curiosas, de una forma muy amena y en un tiempo medio de 5 minutos, TED-Ed es tu sitio.
Video2Brain:
La plataforma de cursos online líder en Europa ahora forma parte de LinkedIn. Para poder acceder a sus más de 900 cursos con 30,000 videos, sólo tienes que pasar por caja y hacer una suscripción mensual de unos US$10/mes. Es una de las pioneras en “esto” de la educación online. Are you one of those people who live for inspiration and improve the world of creativity? Domestika is defined as “Most creative community in Spanish.” So this is your place. It is created by creative professionals from different areas and different companies. All courses have a single fixed cost. If you like any, you pay, you take it and go.
