“The professional networker is a network architect of human relations ensuring a lasting business for himself and his network, he is continuously growing. Being networker is the future.” This is the way our last Tilo Wake Up began at the hands of Julio Villalba who instructed us on this area that is an unstoppable trend and we cannot ignore.
Julio Villalba is a Marketing and Advertising professional who has worked for renowned brands in our country and abroad. When we invited him to come to Tilo so as to give a presentation about Networking, he gladly accepted. “These talks are necessary for team motivation and also to activate the market and customers.”
And the thing is that Julio Villalba has a lot to say on this subject. “Work and manage your time. Your incomes are based on your effort and time you are dedicated to it. Part-time or Full-time” . That is how it read one of the many tips he gave to all of us who were there.
Epson, Quiero TV, Orange, Yoigo, ZTE or Coyote. These ones are some of the many professional projects in which Julio has taken part. These experiences have enriched him as a professional but especially as a person. He could transmitted us that passion, motivation and learning through his encouraging words.
There was a number of shared knowledge in this inspiring talk. A talk that left us great headlines that will remain for posterity: “We live in a constantly changing environment, adapt yourself or you will die”; “Your brand will not be great if you do not consider people’s opinion”. Julio also told us about the five twenty-first century trends shaping the future of work that we must take into account:
- New behaviours shaped by Social Media and web.
- Technologies (change to cloud, collaborative technologies, Big Data, the Internet of things and so on).
- The “Millennials” workforce (new attitudes, expectations and ways of work).
- Mobility (work from anywhere, anytime and from any device).
- Globalization (no limits or borders).
For this knowledge and experience exchange we had a little help… our legendary breakfast! It could not be missed!
But if you cannot get enough of this, Julio Villalba clearly explains what being networker is on this video interview:
What is your opinion about this area? Do you also think that the trend in the way we work is changing and that networking is the future?
